On a Roll!

I put this together today and sent it to my little girl, who isn't so little anymore. Danielle has grown into a loving daughter, mother, sister and wife. Many emotions go through Mom's and Dad's as we watch our children grow. We look back in our pictures and memories of what used to be, and still look forward to what is to be. The rough times fade into the past with hardly no memory left of them, while the good and glory will stay with us always. We miss our little kids but yet still get to enjoy them being our bigger kids. To us they will always be kids. We are very proud of Danielle and the woman she has become in such a short time. We love you Danielle.

This growing highlight of our lives is becoming such a young man. Phillip seems to change quickly right before our eyes. Seems just like yesterday when he was excited about his very first day of school. I still remember what he wore, his Scoobie Doo shorts and shirt and carrying his little lunch box. Even though he won't admit it, after summer is over he is still excited to head back to school to see his friends again. Last week Phillip and I was talking about how much time we spend together and soon ol' mom won't be cool enough to hang out with anymore. My son brought a sun-ray of light and hope when he stated, no mom I will never be like that with you, I like hanging out with you and my friends think your cool too. Have to admit it made me giggle and gave me a smile. We are very proud of the man that Phillip is becoming, he is our ray of hope and he has so much to offer the world. We love you Phillip.
