Tenn. Trip 2010 ....

This is our newest used toy...bought this 1998 Jeep Wrangler 'bout a week before we left for Tenn. stick 4 wheel drive; which towed wonderfully behind the RV...

Dad and Son doing some river fishing at Ripplenwaters RV resort..I just stayed on the bank fishing, pretty happy from there. We all did catch a couple of fishes..of course mine was the biggest and nope we didn't get a pic of it before it fell off the line when I got it to shore. The Long nose Gar stayed on the line for a bit, but he wasn't about to let us get a photo op..figures.

Phillip M found him a nice little shade spot. He hasn't quite got into the long hours of fishing yet, unless the fish are biting..LOL but he did pretty well. He really enjoyed wadding out into the river to fish, until the water started to rise later on. LOL

Ripplenwaters evening...the bugs really weren't all that bad; flies more then anything else.

Ripplenwaters don't have fire pits so you have to either bring your own or make your own. This is Phillip make shift fire pit, he did a great job. He also learned how to start fires with magnesium and flint; took a few tries but finally got us a nice fire started.

Then we moved on to Lawrenceburg Tenn to the David Crockett State Park. This was our view for the next 4 days. We seen all sorts of little critters, birds and bugs. This place reminded us of camping in the Smokies a couple years ago. We will probably visit this park again some day.

Just hanging out around the fire pit, which is located behind the RV. We had the biggest site in the park...lucky us..didn't take another RV to take our spot when we finally pulled out on Sunday. LOL

One of our night time visitors..Little Rocky here was getting hacked at another raccoon trying to horn in on his meal...

He wasn't snarling at us, just his twin...apparently they don't share...LOL

Just checking us out, seeing what might have been left out for them to rip into....we had like 4 raccoons visiting every night.

Yep we see him too...he was just scoping us out as well...the raccoons were great entertainment in the evening...

Our first night at the park and we didn't think about putting our bait away...hmm little paw prints.. they decided to finish off the bait from the river fishing at the RV Resort.

We would kick back in our chairs and would see deer walk thru our campsite everyday...they didn't bother us and we didn't seem to bother them.

First afternoon there a wild turkey decided to pay us a visit.

The trip was a success, very enjoyable..we surely didn't want to leave; but I guess there is a time to get back to reality, hussle and bussle of life. We had beautiful weather, a few humid days and only 1 rainy evening. We took off in the Jeep for a hour trip to look at some land for sale. I guess it was a good thing we had the jeep since there really was no actual road for this newly developing area of land for sale. Little to say 4 wheel drive works great..I don't think much of going bumpty bump, but the boys enjoyed it. LOL. The drive home was different we came home thru Alabama and parts of Ga we hadn't been in, nice drive and scenery. While we were gone Danielle popped in to tend to Taz kitty and the garden, neighbors kept an eye on my flowers. By the time we got home Sunday afternoon John W. had been home since Friday night and will be here until Thursday. We can't wait to see babies..bought Alex an Indian head-dress, a little bow and arrow. Lilly girl got some Indian barrettes and a stuffed animal..didn't have no little shirts or anything for Soni, so she will be getting something on the next Chasteen RV event. So there you have just the short version of our adventure...so until the next one...ya'll come back now ya hear'
