A Quckie Update Of This And That.....

It has been an interesting couple of months, crazy weather, hubby overseas, injuries, illnesses, grandkids growing, walking, talking, so much more.

Where to begin..wow...ok hubby has been doing fairly well while overseas doing his annual turn, he had a couple bouts of not feeling so well with a slight reaction to some medications, but all is back on track and he will be headed home here before to long, sorry still can't give out exact date. We have kept in a constant contact between emails and video streaming. He has gotten to see Sophia take her first steps, watched his little Lilly girl and Alex grow bigger by the day; oh lets not forget how much Boone puppy has grown, ha ha. Delmar puppy is doing so much better after a few months of liver problems, his weight is back down after being on a steroid, he looked so round for the longest time. My mom has had a few bouts of not feeling so well, but seems to be improving. Grandma Chasteen same few bouts of illness, has her good days and bad days. Ronald has been in and out of the hospital with infections, was again released the other day and is feeling a bit better. Danielle is having back and neck problems between 2 slipped disc and re-aligning her neck and back, she is on the road to moving around. As for me a bit stressed there for a while but that is me, stress keeps me going. ha ha.

The weather couldn't decide for the longest time to either stay cool, go warm or hot..we hit the 90's on Sunday, but see a drop in temps later this week into the lower 80's brrrrrr. ha ha.

Phillip M is doing very well in school keeping his grades up to A's so he doesn't have to take finals at the end of the year. He will be taking his test for his drivers license soon after dad gets home. He has been such a great help while his dad is away. Phillip watches over me and makes sure that I am safe and  healthy while his dad is gone, such a trooper.

I have been busy with cleaning up winter mess in the yard, I already have flowers blooming, leaves on the trees, bees buzzing around, mowing and will begin planting our peppers and maters soon.  

So life here is good. We are so thankful for technology, that it keeps us sane and closer to the ones we love. It surely keeps hubby from getting as homesick and he no longer has to miss everything. I know he really enjoys the emails, letters and video streaming while he is away. Thank you for keeping him your hearts and thoughts.  

 I will be taking pics of Easter day, I will be having a Easter Egg Hunt for the grandbabies here. Our local recreation dept. no longer does the hunts, city will not budget for it any longer; how sad for the kids.

Well as you can read, we are all pressing on and enjoying life as we are given everyday..until Easter...Happy Spring....:o)
