Looking pretty great before the hard work begins!

May 27, at 8:35am weighing in at 6lbs 10oz at 19" long
SOPHIA NICOLE

Sophia meets her daddy.

Just a few minutes old, Sophia meets her Mama

Sophia back in the safe arms of her Mommy! both of them were pretty tired after a few hours of hard work.

Just a few minutes old and wrapped like a burrito, Danielle and Mikes 2nd daughter is ready to take on the world.

A few hours later Sophia is in the arms of her loving and protective Papa..he has already given her a nickname Soni...first 2 letters of her first and middle name...While Soni was busy at the hospital coming into this world, Papa spent the time and took care of Alex and Lilly. Ol papa had a wonderful time with his grandbabies, and did some serious one on one bonding with them.

Sophia (Soni) giving papa that look of so you are my Papa....

Uncle Phillip gets his turn with his newest niece..even though he gives Danielle a hard time all the time...he really loves his big sister and is proud of her.

Sophia, papa and Alex discovers that Soni can make a sound..Alex is going to be a great big brother. We are so proud of that little boy....

Papa has no problem sharing his love or his lap with his grand daughters. Papa and Lilly having a conversation about Lilly's new little sister. Now we have 2 that has stole Papa's heart....

Beautiful and just a few hours old....we are such a blessed family...

Beautiful as always, but who else can say they look this great after just delivering a baby, a couple of hours ago. Danielle did a natural birth...no epidural!!!!!!!!!!! Our baby girl can wear the mommy birthing badge proud! Danielle was the talk of the floor, the nurses said she was the brave one on the floor. They hand out epidurals like they are candy now. Danielle called us at around 2am, brought the babies over and off to the hospital we go. After a few hours of hard work and being a trooper Danielle and Sophia are doing great and may get to come home Friday the 28th. Both gals have gotten excellent reports from the doctors and they are perfect....During all of this time papa spent the morning and part of the afternoon with the grand babies..they played, ate and napped. When I finally got to return home, papa had the stories to tell me, he had a smile that could melt your heart..papa was on cloud 9 why..he loves his grand kids....
