Spring is blooming here in Georgia as you can see. Our yards are turning green and the trees are blooming with leaves. Now this is the time me and my neighbor Cheryl (seen above) live for every year, you can't keep us out of the yards that is a sure thing you can bet on.
This is just the beginning of our garden. We know it is a small one but we think it will do just fine for us. We are planting tomato's, corn, green bell peppers, cabbage, lettuce, beans, radish, carrots, hot peppers (like 3 different kinds), onions and anything else we can think of if we have room.
We are hoping to teach this lonely little beagle to be our garden guard dog. His job is keeping birds and rabbits out, and himself. LOL.
After a hard days work, fixing Double's dog house making it more rain proof. Plus Phillip and Dad stained it and made a new door. Plus hubby did some tilling on the garden then came and helped me get some rocks and more grass out of the dirt. It was time to take a break and enjoy the rest of the day. The first pic is of Phillip and Delmar racing back to the porch. Delmar thinks he always has to be the first one to the porch and will nip at Phillip until he backs off. LOL The second is Delmar trying to catch Phillip to attack. This a game they play anytime they are outside, it has become a ritual with these two.
Well I keep convincing my kids you are never to old to color Easter eggs. So here is my 13yr old decorating his eggs, even though he won't eat them. Don't worry they won't go to waste me and Dad will make sure of that. Danielle was going to join us today, but is having car problems and couldn't make it. That is ok she told me she already colored some eggs this year. She will be starting her own traditions now with little Alex. Happy Easter to everyone and for those up north don't worry Spring will be coming to a season near you...LOL

Think you are smart don't you well we had sun today. Ha Ha. The yard and garden looks really good and I wish you luck in growing everything. I know you will like the grape tomatos and Phillip m will like the icicle radishes. Love you all and wish I was there. Mom
